ATLANTA - The unemployment rate in Hall County is up slightly to three-point-two percent.
State Labor Department spokesman Sam Hall says there are a couple of reasons for the increase - a lot of new people entering the labor force and the layoffs of a few people in textile and electrical machinery manufacturing.
Elswhere in the area, the jobless rate was also up slightly in Barrow, Forsyth, Habersham, and Lumpkin counties, but it was down a bit in Banks, Jackson, White, and Dawson.
