Conservative groups criticize Fox for Playboy centerfold special

NEW YORK - Conservative groups are objecting to Fox&#39;s plans to air a prime-time special next week on the selection of a Playboy centerfold. <br> <br> The two-hour show -- ``The Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold&#39;&#39; -- is scheduled for a week from Friday. <br> <br> A coalition of groups is up in arms and has sent a letter to Rupert Murdoch, chairman of Fox&#39;s parent News Corporation. <br> <br> A spokeswoman for Concerned Women for America says the show victimizes women ``for the sake of money and ratings.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> The special will run during a ``sweeps&#39;&#39; month where ratings are tracked to set advertising rates. <br> <br> The show will include women ``sunbathing&#39;&#39; and ``primping for photo shoots.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> A Fox spokesman says it respects the opinions of all of its viewers, but that people who object shouldn&#39;t watch.
