RAMALLAH, WEST BANK - A diplomatic convoy has left Yasser Arafat's compound in Ramallah - carrying six wanted men to a prison elsewhere in the West Bank. <br>

The move paves the way for Arafat's release from weeks of Israeli confinement inside the headquarters. <br>

Nearly two hours after they arrived, about a dozen U-S and British diplomatic armored vehicles began leaving the compound. Palestinian officials say the six prisoners are being transported in six separate vehicles.<br>
