Board votes to restart utility's oldest nuclear reactor

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA - The Tennessee Valley Authority Board has voted unanimously to restart Unit One at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. <br> <br> The reactor at in northeastern Alabama is the oldest one the utility has. It was shut down in 1985 over safety concerns. <br> <br> The three-member board didn&#39;t discuss how to pay the projected $1.8 billion cost of renovating the reactor. <br> <br> The decision came at the board&#39;s meeting in Huntsville, Alabama.
