SAVANNAH - A 17-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to conspiring to kill her mother and has agreed to testify against her father.
Virginia Pike was sentenced Monday to ten years in prison. In exchange for her guilty plea and testimony against her father, Edgar Pike, prosecutors dismissed charges of murder, felony murder and possession of a knife.
Assistant District Attorney Christy Barker said Virginia Pike told police her father had been planning to kill her mother for two months.
Thirty-nine-year-old Edgar Pike and Virginia Pike's 21-year-old boyfriend, Ashanti Dmitri Priester, were charged with murder in the death of 36-year-old Audrey Pike last year.
Audrey Pike was found on the floor of her minivan in a meat company parking lot near her home in west Savannah. She suffered multiple stab wounds on her neck and chest.
Edgar Pike called police the morning of his wife's death and told them he had been driving past the business and spotted his wife's van.

Investigators later determined the van had been parked at the meat company since at least midnight. Audrey Pike was believed to have been dead seven or eight hours before police were called.
Police searched the Pikes' home and found a knife, which detectives believe was used in the slaying, and half of Audrey Pike's torn and bloody bra.
Barker said Priester was the one who stabbed Audrey Pike. Authorities said Priester planned to move into the Pikes' home after the killing.
Priester pleaded guilty to murder and is serving a life sentence.
