ATHENS - Retired Athens radio executive H. Randolph Holder has died at the Athens Regional Medical Center. He was 85. <br>

Holder, the former chairman of Clarke Broadcasting, had Parkinson's disease and cancer. He died Monday night. <br>

He was the voice of radio station WGAU AM for years, reminding listeners each morning that ``It's a lovely day to be in Athens,'' and telling them to ``keep smiling until 10 o'clock, and the rest of the day will take care of itself.'' <br>
