York, also known as Malachi York, faces an additional three counts of going from Putnam County to Orlando, Fla., to have sex with a minor and transporting minors across state lines to have sex.
The maximum penalties for each charge are 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Television reports showed about 25 to 30 law enforcement vehicles, including federal officers, around buildings on the 476-acre village.
``There is no standoff. There have been no shots fired. Everything is going smoothly,'' said Teresa Slade, administrative assistant to the sheriff.
The Nuwaubians claim to be ``true native Americans'' descended from Egypt. From 150 to 200 people live at the compound, which bought by York. York founded the Nuwaubian community.
The Nuwaubians have erected two pyramids, a sphinx, numerous Egyptian-style statues, manufactured homes and other structures on the property since moving there from New York in 1993.
