GAINESVILLE - The 81-year-old founder and CEO of Chick-fil-A brought his Christian testimony and business philosophy to a group of young people in Gainesville youngsters Tuesday.
Truett Cathy, who makes no bones about his faith-based corporate philosophy, addressed a chapel service at Westminster Christian School.
In urging the young people in his audience to be ambitious, Cathy, who opened his first restaurant in 1946, said "we honor God in our successes and not in our failures."
Cathy said he is motiviated by young people, especially those he sees working because they like to, not because they have to.
