Jimmy Young said Thursday.

``He said he was going to burn down the gym because that's where everybody picked on him,'' Young said.

He said the juvenile told police he also wanted to burn a specific teacher's car with a second Molotov cocktail because he said his complaints about being bullied weren't being addressed.

The teen-ager was charged with terroristic threats and acts and possession of a destructive device. He was taken to the Augusta Regional Youth Detention Center, to await a hearing.

A teacher smelled smoke in the classroom about 3 p.m. Wednesday and determined that the 13-year-old lit the match, Young said.
