COUDERSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA - As the CEO of Adelphia Cable resigns, the company thAT owns the cable system in Cumming says it will be selling off some of its systems.
The Pennsylvania based company has given permission its financial adivsors to entertain offers made by other companies such as Charter Communications which serves Hall County and parts of Gwinnett County.
The company has not said if the Cumming system is up for sale. Amidst and investigation by a NADAQ subcommittee about improper filing of annual revenues, CEO Timothy L. Rigas resigned his position Thursday.
A replacement has not been chosen. Adelphia is the nations sixth largest cable service provider.
