BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - An LSU football player has been booked on charges he raped a woman he met in an Internet chat room, police said Thursday.
Donovan Grayson Jr., 19, surrendered to police after a warrant for his arrest was issued based on the woman's accusations, LSU police spokesman Capt. Ricky Adams said.

Grayson, who is a linebacker for the Tigers, met the unidentified woman in a chat room Thursday night, according to the warrant.

She then drove to his apartment, where she said Grayson led her to his bedroom and locked the door and raped her after she repeatedly told him no.

The woman told police she did not call for help because she feared he would hurt her.

Adams said Grayson ``disputes her version of the events'' and that the investigation is ongoing.
LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette said LSU coach Nick Saban had no comment until he gets more information on the matter. Saban also said he had not made a decision regarding Grayson's status on the team.
