ATLANTA - Atlanta Braves infielder Mark DeRosa underwent surgery Tuesday morning to repair a damaged right ankle.
DeRosa partially tore the tissue that holds the ligaments and tendon to the bone above his ankle while running out a double Friday night at Colorado.
Trainer Dave Pursley estimates the shortstop will miss at least two months.
DeRosa was hitting .345 with one home run and four doubles.
