Rocker sent to minors again by Rangers

DALLAS - The Texas Rangers sent erratic reliever John Rocker to the minors for the second time this season Tuesday. <br> <br> The Rangers optioned Rocker - the former Atlanta Braves closer - to Class AAA Oklahoma and recalled left-hander Randy Flores from Oklahoma. <br> <br> Texas general manager John Hart says it would be ``in his best interest to go to Oklahoma to help improve that performance.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> Rocker never reported to Oklahoma the first time he was sent down, on April 17. He spent several days working with pitching consultant Tom House and was soon recalled by the Rangers. <br> <br> Rocker is 0-1 with a 7.53 ERA and one save in four chances. <br> <br> He has a 6.23 ERA in 11 games since returning to the majors. He allowed four runs in four innings in his last four games. <br> <br> Flores is 0-1 with a 5.02 ERA in nine relief appearances with Oklahoma. He had a 2.45 ERA in seven games with the Rangers from April 23rd through May 9th.
