ATLANTA - Despite the second largest jackpot in the history of the multistate Big Game lottery -- $200 million up for grabs for Friday's drawing -- a new game called Mega Millions will be introduced next month. It will add two states and the potential for more than a $500 million payout.
Georgia Lottery President Rebecca Paul, in making the announcement Wednesday, said Mega Millions will replace the Big Game on May 15. The first drawing will be held on Friday, May 17 in Atlanta and will be held each Tuesday and Friday thereafter.
