BERLIN - German police have arrested 11 members of an extremist Islamic group on suspicion of supporting a jihad, or holy war, prosecutors said Tuesday. <br>

The suspects were being questioned by police, the federal prosecutor's office said in a statement. <br>

One was identified as Yaser H., a 36-year-old Palestinian resident of the western German city of Essen.
