Raiders scalp Indians

TOCCOA- The North Forsyth baseball team busted open a close game in the seventh inning Tuesday, and wound up walloping host Stephens County 11-4.<br> <br> The Raiders (7-3) scored six in the seventh frame.<br> <br> Wes Gravitt had a sterling day at the plate going 3-for-5 with two doubles and a solo homer.<br> <br> Dusty Martin and Bennett Mayfield had a couple of hits each.<br> <br> Mark Doll got the win, striking out six, walking none, and giving up two earned runs in five innings of work.<br> <br> North Forsyth is slated to open its Region 7-AAA schedule at rival Forsyth Central Wednesday at 4:30.<br> <br> Stephens County is scheduled to host Jackson County in an 8-AAA game at 5:30.<br> <br> In other prep baseball scheduled for Wednesday afternoon:<br> <br> East Hall at Gilmer;<br> <br> Gainesville at Gilmer County<br> <br> Johnson at Fannin County;<br> <br> North Hall at Cedar Shoals;<br> <br> South Forsyth at Pickens County;<br> <br> Lumpkin County at Union County;<br> <br> and Habersham Central at Grayson.<br> <br>
