BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - Sean Barker went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and four LSU pitchers allowed just five hits as the Tigers beat New Orleans 8-1 on Tuesday. <br>

Barker doubled in two runs in the first inning to give LSU (18-12) a 2-0 lead. Eric Wiethorn hit a two-RBI double and Chris Phillips hit an RBI single in the seventh to put the Tigers up 6-1. Aaron Hill added a two-run homer in the eighth. <br>

Starter Bo Pettit (3-4) struck out two and allowed no earned runs on two hits in four innings and earned the win. Relievers Brian Wilson, Jason Vargas and Jake Tompkins combined to allow one earned run on three hits and two walks. <br>

Brandon Migues (2-2) started and gave up three earned runs on three hits and two walks in 2 1/3 innings and took the loss for New Orleans. <br>

The Privateers (17-12) scored in the sixth when J.D. Huether doubled in Chandler Rose.
