Police arrest teens suspected of robbing McDonald's

MACON - Four teen-agers were arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of armed robberies at McDonald's and Subway restuarants. <br>

Macon detectives said they expected to arrest two more teens within the next few days. Arrested were: Eric Hughes, 18; Robby Blunt and Cregg Jones, both 17; and a 16-year-old, whose name was not released. <br>

Hughes was charged with two robberies at a McDonald's on Mar.1 and April 1. He also is charged with the Jan. 26 armed robbery of a Subway sandwich shop. <br>

Blunt was charged with the Apr. 1 robbery at McDonald's. Jones faces charges in connection with Tuesday's robbery of another McDonald's. <br>
<br>
The 16-year-old, who is being charged as an adult, was charged with armed robbery and a Mar. 19 burglary. <br>
<br>
Police said each of the robberies was pulled off with the help of an employee. At least two of the four teens charged Wednesday worked for McDonald's. Of the two teens still wanted, one is a McDonald's employee, police said. <br>

The suspects were booked at the Bibb County jail about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
