Jones re-elected as Vice Chairman of GTC Board

ATLANTA - Ray C. Jones of Chestnut Mountain, GA was re-elected recently to a one-year term as Vice Chairman of the Board of Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC).<br> <br> The GTC Board of Directors elected officers for 2002 at a Board Meeting on March 26, 2002 in Atlanta.<br> <br> Jones has served on the GTC Board since 1996 as a Member Director for the Northeast Region. <br> <br> He serves as a member of the Board of Jackson EMC.<br> <br> Also re-elected as GTC officers were Charles R. Fendley, Chairman of the Board; Roy Tollerson, Jr., Secretary; and Steve E. Rawl, Sr., Treasurer.<br> <br> Fendley is the GTC Member Director for the Northwest Region and is Chairman of the Board of Amicalola EMC. Tollerson is the at-large GTC Member Director and on the Board of Directors of Troup EMC. Rawl is the GTC Member Director for the Southeast Region and is First Vice President of Okefenoke REMC.<br> <br> GTC is a not-for-profit cooperative owned by 39 Electric Membership Corporations in Georgia.
