Zeier leaves Force to pursue NFL opportunity

ATLANTA - Quarterback Eric Zeier has left the Arena Football League&#39;s Georgia Force to pursue opportunities in the NFL. <br> <br> The Force made the announcement Tuesday. <br> <br> Zeier, who played at the University of Georgia, was battling Arena veterans Kevin McDougal and Donnie Davis for the starting job with the Force. In two preseason games, Zeier was 16-for-37 for 159 and one touchdown. He threw four interceptions. <br> <br> A spokesman says Zeier hasn&#39;t signed with a NFL team yet. Zeier was not immediately available for comment.
