NEW YORK - Conyers native Clint Mathis and Josh Wolff of Stone Mountain are among 23 players selected for the American soccer team.<br>

The Americans - heading to their fourth straight World Cup - announced the roster Monday, nearly one month before it had to be submitted to FIFA, soccer's governing body. <br>

At the World Cup the U.S. team has first-round games against Portugal June 5th, South Korea June 10th and Poland on June 14th. <br>
<br>
Mathis and Wolff - both 25-year-old forwards - are among 11 players on the team for the first time. <br>
<br>
Mathis plays for the New York/New Jersey Metrostars of Major League Soccer, while Wolff plays for the Chicago Fire.<br>
