Former teacher testifies in sexual molestation case

WOODSTOCK - A former Woodstock High School coach took the witness stand Friday and denied having sexual contact with two students. <br> <br> Twenty-six year-old Gene Groves is charged with fondling one student and having sex with another last year. He says the students are lying. <br> <br> A 17-year-old girl testified Thursday that she had sex with Groves twice before she put an end to it. <br> <br> Another 17-year-old girl testified that Groves touched her inappropriately on two separate occasions last school year. <br> <br> Groves is one of three former Woodstock High School teachers who resigned following an investigation into improper relationships with students. If convicted, he could face up to 32 years in prison. <br> <br> Groves&#39; wife also testified Friday. The defense is expected to wrap up its case Friday afternoon.
