MONTREAL - Yanic Perreault scored a power-play goal 39 seconds into the third period and Jose Theodore made 34 saves as the Montreal Canadiens eliminated the top-seeded Boston Bruins 2-to-1. <br> <br> The eighth-seeded Canadiens win the first-round playoff series four games to two and advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals to face Carolina. <br> <br> Boston took the lead at seven-57 of the first on Brian Rolston&#39;s fourth goal of the playoffs but the Canadiens pulled even on Donald Audette&#39;s power-play goal almost six minutes later. <br> <br> The Bruins played without defenseman Kyle McLaren who was suspended for the remainder of the first round for a hit on Richard Zednick in game four. <br> <br> The Canadiens won for the 22nd time in 29 playoff series against the Bruins.
