GAINESVILLE - Judi Markell resigned as Florida's gymnastics coach Monday, ending her 10-year career with the Gators. <br>

Markell went 124-81-1 in 10 seasons at Florida, including 14-11 this season. The Gators made NCAA Championships in nine of her 10 seasons. Their best finish came in 1998, when they took second. <br>

``I've done a good job here at Florida and I'm ready to move on with my life,'' she said. <br>
<br>
Athletic director Jeremy Foley will begin the search for Markell's replacement immediately. <br>
<br>
Markell came to Florida after 18 years as coach at Penn State. She is 402-168-2 overall. <br>
<br>
