Two dead, one injured in shooting at Waffle House restaurant in Florida

DAVIE, Fla. - Two employees died and a third was injured after an early morning shootout at a Waffle House restaurant in Florida, police said. <br>

The victims, one man and one woman, were found in a freezer area of the restaurant on Monday, said Gary Killam, Davie police spokesman. <br>
<br>
Authorities were searching for the shooter. <br>
<br>
A wounded woman walked to a nearby gas station where she called 911 shortly before 5 a.m., Killam said. She was taken to Broward County Medical Center. <br>
<br>
The identities of the victims were not released. <br>
<br>
The Waffle House is just east of Interstate 75 in Davie, about 10 miles southwest of Fort Lauderdale. <br>
