A crowd of about 600 people opposed to the proposed Northern Arc highway which will run through Gwinnett and Forsyth counties showed up to voice their concerns Saturday. <br>

The Northern Arc Task Force billed the event as an informational forum on the 60-mile highway that would stretch from near Ga. 316 in Gwinnett to Ga. 41 Bartow County. <br>

But the nearly three-hour session, attended by more than a dozen elected officials and candidates, also was part political forum and part pep rally.
