NOBLE - Officials have started draining the lake on the grounds of the Tri-State Crematory in Noble.
They dropped the water level about six inches Monday. The lake is eight feet deep at its deepest point. Authorities say flat-bottomed boats may go out onto the mud that's left behind as early as Friday.
Officials fear more bodies could be buried in the lake. So far 339 corpses have been discovered on the crematory grounds. Ninety-seven of those corpses have been identified.
