MACON - Swainsboro overcame an 11-point third-quarter deficit and got 22 points from Shayla Roberts to beat Fannin County 59-49 in a Class AAA girls semifinal Wednesday. <br>

Roberts scored 10 of her points in the fourth quarter, when Swainsboro outscored Fannin County 24-14 to secure its first appearance in the state championship game. The Lady Tigers (31-2) play Northeast-Macon on Saturday at noon. <br>

Kellie Johnson scored 12 points for Swainsboro and Nikki Robinson had 11. <br>

Fannin County (27-4) got 20 points from Stephanie Scearce and 12 from Mandy Anderson.
