POWDER SPRINGS - Authorities arrested 11 McEachern High School students this week on misdemeanor charges resulting from a Feb. 14 fight at the west Cobb County campus.
Each of those arrested have posted $1,100 bond. Another student, Michael Jerome Parker, 17, already had been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a knife on school property.
School officials have not said what sparked the brawl, which broke out as students were changing classes. Paris Allen, 18, was injured after being stabbed with a Swiss Army knife.
McEachern Principal Tommy Farr said the school would not pursue the matter further than punishments already handed out, said Cobb schools spokesman Jay Dillon.
In addition to being charged, Parker was expelled. School authorities had suspended 13 students - including Allen.
Police did not identify four of the 11 students arrested this week. They are juveniles; the other seven face adult misdemeanor charges.
