Prep tennis continues to raise a racket.

The West Hall boys continued their strong start on the tennis courts. In a region match Monday, West Hall edged North Hall 3-2. <br> <br> #1 singles- Brad Wofford (NH) defeated Joseph Pate 1-6, 7-6, 6-1 <br> #2- Drew Wilkerson (WH) def. Andrew Klein 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 <br> #3 -Kip Wright (NH) def. Matt Whiting 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 <br> <br> #1 doubles-Nathan Reed/Steven Craig(WH) def. Andrew Copeland/Alex Corbin 6-4, 6-3 <br> <br> #2 Mark Braza/Kevin Samples (WH) def. Tyler Smiley/ Paul Herdener 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 <br> <br> West Hall goes to 5-1 on the year, and will play Habersham Central at Piedmont College Tuesday.<br> <br> In the Hall County Tennis Tournament at Gainesville College Monday, Johnson&#39;s girls<br> (3-0) shut out East Hall 5-zip. <br> At East Hall, the Johnson boys picked up their first win of the season by making it a sweep over East Hall, edging the Viking boys 3-2.<br> <br> Johnson is slated to host Gilmer County for region 7-AAA play Tuesday. East Hall is scheduled to play at West Hall Wednesday, and host Gainesville Monday.<br> <br> The Gainesville teams stayed unbeaten on the season with big Hall County Tournament wins over Lakeview Monday. The Elephant boys won 5-zip, while the GHS girls took a 4-1 victory.<br> <br> On the Tuesday tennis schedule, Buford is slated to host Providence.<br> <br> <br> <br>
