MARIETTA - Marietta High School is making adjustments to increase security after a 16-year-old student was raped in a school classroom by a classmate.
Principal Gordon Pritz says staff assigned to monitor students eating lunch now will be stationed in hallways as students arrive and leave rather than staying in the cafeteria the entire time.

The school also is installing software that will allow administrators to use their computers to monitor feeds from any of 100 digital security cameras on campus.
The cameras now feed into a single room.
Seventeen-year-old Michael Lomen Dawson - a junior at the school - is charged as an adult in the rape of the girl last week as she was on her say to lunch.
