Osborn's blast, his eighth of the year, keyed a sixth-run fifth as Florida went ahead 11-1. Garza's pinch-hit homer keyed a four-run seventh. <br>

Starting pitcher Matt Foster (1-0) limited Massachusetts (5-5) to one run in five innings. <br>

Massachusetts starter Scott Ratliff (1-1) gave up eight runs on six hits and six walks, exiting after getting into trouble in the fifth. Chris Morgan had two of the Minutemen's five hits, scoring their first run of the game in the second.
