Shaw knocks West Georgia out of Division II tourney

EVANSVILLE, INDIANA - Kenyon Booker had 25 points and 11 rebounds as Shaw beat West Georgia 102-84 Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II tournament. <br> <br> Booker was 10-of-12 from the field for Shaw (28-4), which will face the Adelphi, N.Y.-Kentucky Wesleyan winner in the semifinals Thursday night. <br> <br> Former East Hall High star Chezley Watson had a tough night shooting just 4-of-10 from the field for 9 points.<br> <br> Steve Bynes added 16 points, Ronald Murray had 12, and Van Williams 11 points for Shaw. <br> <br> Bryant Redd led West Georgia (24-9) with 28 points on 11-of-17 shooting. Redd was 6-of-8 from 3-pointer range. <br> <br> Andy Young added 14 points, Issac Williams had 12 and Dennis Long 11 for West Georgia.
