STONE MOUNTAIN - DeKalb authorities are investigating an attempted abduction of two boys near Stone Mountain in south DeKalb County and looking for a suspect. <br>

Pine Ridge Elementary School officials said two students were walking together about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man drove up in a green car and tried to grab one of them. The boys ran to a neighbor and reported the incident. <br>

Police say the suspect tried to grab the seven-year-old boy but the child's ten-year-old brother fought off the attacker. <br>
<br>
Officials have informed principals at other schools about the incident. The school also sent a letter to parents alerting them of the incident.
