PONTE VEDRA, FLORIDA - Former Georgia Tech star Matt Kuchar says he expects to play in the BellSouth Classic and the Masters next month despite withdrawing from The Players Championship with an injured right ankle.<br>

Kuchar hurt himself playing basketball during the long wait for his 2:40 p.m. tee time in Friday's second round. <br>

Kuchar, the 1998 U.S. Amateur champion who finally became a full-time pro this year, hurt the ankle as he was landing after a dunk. He stands 6-foot-4.
