14-year-old student arrested after allegedly biting principal

COLUMBUS - A 14-year-old girl was arrested Thursday after police say she bit her school principal. <br> <br> The student, who attends Arnold Magnet Academy, was sent to the assistant principal&#39;s office after she refused to cooperate or to do any work. <br> <br> After school officials issued their discipline, the girl refused to leave the office. According to the school and local police, she even resisted and began to fight a Columbus police officer who tried to escort her out of the office. <br> <br> L.S. Johnson, assistant chief of security for Muscogee County School District, said Principal Jose Negron and a school counselor were trying to assist the officer when the girl bit Negron on his right hand. <br> <br> The student has not been identified.
