One dead, another critical after Fort Stewart shooting

FORT STEWART - A soldier at Fort Stewart was in critical condition Sunday after he was shot by another soldier who then shot and killed himself. <br>

The shootings occurred Friday at the 226th Medical Supply Company. <br>
<br>
Investigators said PFC Craig Jones walked into the orderly room of the 226th Medical Supply Company at the base just outside Savannah and shot Sgt. Michael Santiago in the chest and arm. He then shot and killed himself. <br>
<br>
Both men were in the same unit and knew each other, but officials still investigating a motive for the shootings. <br>
<br>
``We don't know what the working relationship was,'' said base spokesman Lt. Col. Dave Van Laar. ``We know that he knew him, but their exact working relationship is still under investigation.'' <br>
