ATLANTA - A state official said Wednesday that the search of a lake bed at Tri-State Crematory in northwest Georgia has ended with no additional bodies found. <br>

Authorities found hundreds of uncremated remains around the crematory in Walker County after a search that began February 15th following a tip that a skull was found in nearby woods. <br>

Tri-State operator Ray Brent Marsh faces 204 counts of theft by deception stemming from the discovery of 339 discarded corpses. The lake was drained two weeks ago, but the search for more bodies was hampered by rain at least twice. <br>

Gary McConnell, director of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, said officials are now in the process of restoring the dam and preparing to turn the property over to the Walker County sheriff and district attorney. He said they will determine when the property will be turned back over to the Tri-State Crematory owners. <br>

Many of the remains have yet to be identified. <br>

McConnell said GEMA's operations center in the county seat of Lafayette will remain open while the Georgia Bureau of Investigation continues identifying more than 200 sets of remains.
