Vandiver set to shatter GSU record book

Former Johnson High baseball standout Josh Vandiver has definitely made a name for himself at Georgia State.

The senior could hold virtually every record for the Panthers if he stays healthy.

He currently is the school's all-time leader in total bases (340) and sacrifice flies (12) and both career and single-season putouts (1,500 and 434).

Right now, he is second all-time in games played at 188 and at-bats with 633. He's fifth in runs with 116, fourth in hits with 194 and third in doubles (42), home runs (34) and RBI (139).

Vandiver is hitting .349 with six homers and 25 RBI for the Panthers in 2002.
