TROY, Mich. - Five Kmart Corp. executives have left the company, but officials are not saying if they resigned or were fired.
David Rots, executive vice president and chief administrative officer; Tony D'Onofrio, executive vice president and chief supply chain officer; and senior vice presidents David Montoya, John Owen and Leo Anguiano, are the latest to depart since the Troy-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Jan. 22, the Detroit Free Press reported.
Replacements had not been named.
Former Kmart chairman and chief executive officer Chuck Conaway resigned on March 9.

Rots and D'Onofrio, who worked for Kmart for less than two years, each received $2.5 million in loans that could be forgiven.

Chairman and CEO James Adamson plans to restructure the retailer's supply chain operations. D'Onofrio's responsibilities are being handled by two other executive vice presidents and a senior vice president.
"I am confident that these changes are a step in the right direction as we get back to the basics of our business and steer the company toward successful emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy," Adamson said in a company memo.
Only two of 10 executive management team members have been with Kmart for longer than a year. Most of the leadership, including Adamson and President and Chief Operating Officer Julian Day, have been with Kmart for less than three months. Adamson was named chairman on Jan. 17 and chief executive officer on March 11.
