High school golfers back in the swing.

High school golfers were back on the courses again Wednesday.<br> <br> The Gainesville boys took an 11- stroke victory over Elbert County 155-166 at Chattahoochee.<br> <br> Morgan Nix and Taylor Sholes both were at 1-over par 37 for GHS. Robert Norton chipped in with a 39, a score also shot by Elbert&#39;s Brian Norman.<br> <br> The Elephants are scheduled to play South Forsyth beginning at 4 PM Thursday at Olde Atlanta Club.<br> <br> West Hall took a three-way match with North Forsyth and East Hall at Royal Lakes. The Spartans won 162-192-197.<br> <br> Chris Weigle had a 3-over 39 to lead West Hall. Second place North Forsyth was paced by Steven Walters with a 41. The Vikings were led by Justin Llewallen and Jeff Sutton, both at 44.<br> <br> The North Forsyth girls won their side at 107-to-118 for West Hall, and 127 for East Hall.<br> <br> Ashley Holland had a 46 for the winners. The Lady Spartans were led by Ashley Watson&#39;s 55, while the Lady Vikes were paced by Elizabeth Calvert with her 60.<br> <br> Buford&#39;s boys beat Jackson County and Jefferson (165-181-192) at Sandy Creek in Commerce.<br> <br> Jonathan Marsh shot even an even par 36 to lead the Wolves. Will Wilbanks had 42 for the runner-up Jackson County Panthers, with Will Roper leading the third-place Dragons at 41.<br> <br> The Jackson County girls won over Buford 97-95. The Lady Wolves&#39; Annalee Abernathy had a 47 through seven holes.<br>
