GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA - Bobby Hutchinson went 4-for-4 and Trent Pratt's three-run homer in the sixth inning gave Auburn a lead it never surrendered as the Tigers beat Florida 8-3 Friday. <br>

Auburn (21-6, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) batted around while scoring five runs in the sixth, chasing Florida starter Jimmy Ramshaw (2-2). Ramshaw gave up six runs, four earned, in 5 2/3 innings pitched for the Gators (22-6, 4-3). <br>

Hutchinson perfect night included a lead off double to begin the Tigers' sixth-inning rally. He also walked and scored two runs. <br>

Auburn starter Levale Speigner (6-2) had the Gator hitters fooled most of the night, going 7 2/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking none. Cory Dueitt picked up his second save with 1 1/3 innings of relief. <br>

Florida shortstop Mark Kiger homered in the fourth.
