NORCROSS - A federal appeals court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Gwinnett County to block the opening of an adult video and novelty store. <br>

Love Shack II opened July 16 last year two days after a judge ruled an ordinance blocking the store was too restrictive. <br>

Gwinnett County officials drew up a revised ordinance. The county's appeal was quashed Thursday. <br>

Peachtree Corners residents and local church groups have staged a series of protests in front of the Love Shack II since it opened hoping to drive business away. <br>
<br>
John Cornetta, owner of Love Shack II, also owns Love Shack video store on Jimmy Carter Boulevard. <br>
<br>
Residents wanted both stores out of their neighborhood.
