CLEMSON, S.C. - Clemson athletic director Bobby Robinson has met with basketball coach Larry Shyatt to discuss an incident during the Duke game in which Shyatt charged toward the Blue Devils' bench.
Robinson said he has not ruled out disciplinary action.
``For now this is an internal matter and I will leave it at that,'' Robinson said Monday. Robinson said he has talked with Atlantic Coast Conference officials about the matter.
Shyatt headed toward the Duke bench late in the Blue Devils' 98-88 win on Saturday after Duke forward Dahntay Jones shouted something at the Tigers' bench after a slam dunk.
Shyatt was restrained by assistant coach Matt Driscoll. No technical foul was called. Shyatt apologized after the game, saying he ``acted inappropriately.''
Duke coach Mike Krzyzewksi downplayed the incident and shad Shyatt ``didn't go beyond the limits of anything.''
