DAHLONEGA - It was another tough night on the hardwood for the North Georgia College and State University basketball men Monday.<br>

Visiting Southern Polytechnic came in and walloped the Saints 94-57.<br>

Southern Tech was led by Duriel Coleman with 24 points. Leho Kraav had 12, while Canaan Brown and Matt Cogbill chipped in 10 apiece for the winners.<br>
<br>
North Georgia (8-15, 3-8 Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference) was paced by Kevin Toatley with 13 points, with Joe Montgomery and Jarrod Greer adding 10 each. North Georgia is slated to host Reinhardt Thursday at 8PM.<br>

Some Hall County alumni played on the losing side in other college hoops Monday night. The Lander men (8-11) lost to North Greenville 77-72. West Hall alum Adrian Penland had 17 points and two steals for the Senators in the loss. Lander is slated at USC-Aiken Wednesday evening at 7:30.<br>

Another West Hall grad, April Martin had 12 points and three steals as her West Georgia team (14-5, 6-3 Gulf South Conference) lost to Lincoln Memorial 72-57. The Lincoln men made it a sweep with a 96-76 win over the male Braves (14-6, 6-3). East Hall alumnus Chezley Watson also scored 12 points.<br>

The West Georgia teams have a home double-dip scheduled with Valdosta State Thursday, beginning at 5:30.
