The Piedmont baseball team has opened its season, but not the way it wanted to.<br>

The Diamond Lions dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Emmanuel College Saturday 7-4, and 9-0.<br>
<br>
Joe Durskey and Matt Huffman did record home runs for the Lions in game one as Darrell Stover also helped out the offense going 2-for-3.<br>
<br>
Piedmont is scheduled at Huntingdon College in Alabama next Saturday at 3 PM.
