Wofford beats Georgia Southern

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Mike Lenzly scored 27 points and Justin Stephens added a career-high 26 to lead Wofford to a 76-67 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday night. <br> <br> The Terriers (11-3, 5-7 Southern) used a 23-5 run over nearly seven minutes to take a 62-56 lead around the four minute mark. The run included three 3-pointers and a breakaway dunk. <br> <br> A 3-pointer by freshman Adrien Borders, who scored 12 points off the bench, gave Wofford its first lead of the game at 55-54 with 6:36 remaining. <br> <br> Kashien Latham had 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks for Georgia Southern (13-10, 6-6). Sean Peterson added 13 points. <br> <br> The Terriers shot 53.3 percent (16-for-30), including 6-of-11 on 3-pointers in the second half. <br> <br> Georgia Southern outrebounded Wofford 51-36, but the Terriers committed just nine turnovers compared to 18 for the Eagles.
