FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Travelocity.com and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts have signed a distribution agreement in which the travel site will have direct access to theme park tickets and onsite hotel room inventory, officials announced Monday. <br>

Under the deal, Travelocity.com will offer land-only and air-inclusive vacation packages for all onsite Walt Disney World Resort hotels and will include admission to Disney's theme parks in Orlando. Financial terms were not disclosed. <br>

Travelocity Vacations will launch its Walt Disney World Resort product during the first quarter of 2002. <br>

Disneyland Resort vacation packages will be added to Travelocity Vacations' California product line during the year. <br>

``Having the opportunity to dynamically package Disney vacations is a monumental achievement. We have tremendous customer demand for Disney's products, and are delighted to offer theme park tickets and packages for all onsite hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort,'' said Terrell B. Jones, president and chief executive officer of Travelocity.com. <br>

Randy A. Garfield, CTC, executive vice president of sales and travel operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said, ``This new relationship will enable us to extend the distribution of our product by offering Disney vacations to the millions of loyal Travelocity members.'' <br>

Shares of Disney rose 53 cents to close at $23.95 in trading Monday on the New York Stock Exchange. Travelocity shares fell $1.07, or 5.4 percent, to close at $18.88 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
