BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA - Rhett Buras had two RBIs and pinch hitter Joey Duhe had an RBI single as Southeastern Louisiana beat LSU 4-3 Tuesday. <br>

Buras' double and Duhe's base hit in the eighth inning gave Southeastern (2-0) enough to hold off a ninth-inning rally from LSU (3-1). Chris Gonzales (1-0), who relieved starter Chris O'Brien in the seventh, pitched 2 1/3 innings and got the win. <br>

Jake Leba had an RBI single in the first to give the Lions an early lead. LSU's David Raymer and Sean Barker had RBIs in the eighth to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead. <br>

The Tigers had two men on in the bottom of the ninth, but Jeff Stempel got Aaron Hill to pop out and ended the two-out rally. <br>

Brad David (0-1) relieved starter Chad Vaught in the eighth, gave up three earned runs and took the loss.
