TORONTO, Canada- Hall County's Jodie Briggs continues to hit the mark in her shooting competitions.<br>

This past weekend, Briggs finished with the silver medal at the Crosman Airgun Grand Prix in Toronto, Canada in the International Junior Women's 10 meter air pistol competition.<br>

Along with the second place Junior finish, Briggs placed 6th overall among all women competitors. The Junior international matches are for competitors 20 years of age and younger.<br>
<br>
The Crosman Grand Prix is the largest airgun competition in North America and draws over 250 international competitors. The three day match February 15-17 was sponsored by the Canadian Shooting Sports Association and the Shooting Federation of Canada, and this year celebrated its 20th anniversary.<br>

Briggs, of Chestnut Mountain, is a recent graduate of Johnson High in Hall County and is currently a student at Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland.<br>
